Is there a correct way to breathe?
In a day, we take about 17,000-30,000 breaths per day(even more when you start moving more or when under constant stress, & in those numbers, about 80 percent of us barely breathe to our potential of a full breath! The breath ties us to our physical pain, posture, emotional, mental & emotional state, our breath shows a glimpse of where we are currently. There really is no such thing as the correct way to breathe, however, if you are one of those who are breathing less oxygen, due to habits, or you fall sick often(weak immune system), have a chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, go through high levels of stress daily, or to perform physical activities better, then there is a better way to breathe rather than a correct way. What is within one session, you can clear of sinus that you have had for so many years(big claim but it's been done), improve your outcome for sports(too many have done this along with plenty of studies), well all of which there is only benefits to follow if you give yourself this chance to experience one session & decide for yourself.

Our breathworks class facilitates exploration to increase your awareness of how your body & breath is connected, to how you can manipulate your own systems by yourself with simple & proven techniques/ methods. The sessions are based on physiological science that makes the changes in your body possible to feel instantly by voluntarily changing how your body's chemicals react, shifting more oxygen & carbon dioxide accordingly. What are the benefits of doing breathworks?
Most of how we typically breathe is pretty shallow, & we start to hyperventilate by an increased rate of breaths per minute. A normal respiration rate for an adult at rest range from 12 to 16 breaths per minute,& when you breathe twice the amount of the normal resting rate, you become unaware of hyperventilating. This doesn't allow a proper ration of gaseous exchange in the lungs & body. When doing breathwork session with us, we aim to neutralise your blood PH level making it more alkaline, & have your body improve both blood & lymphatic flow. The process naturally follows relaxation, a much deeper inward journey of observation can be done, & you enter the rest & digest which most of us dont come out of.
How to prepare for breathworks session
There is nothing important to come with or bring for the session, however, there are a fe wthings to keep in mind to maximise your session. It's best to come on an empty stomach(if you have to eat, eat light), comfortable clothing, & let us do the rest.
