Sports has undeniably stepped up in numbers over the last few years, which the relationship between sports & injuries has also seen an increase. More people are slowly adapting the idea of a healthy lifestyle with sports / physically demanding activities, but at a cost. Everyone of us has somehow gotten injured or had pain, sometimes even by the simplest of things we do in daily life. The only way we know & see it that you, need to increase your awareness of how your body moves, limitations, & how to overcome them with understanding how your body works as a whole. This is where we step in, to make the learning curve easier having a workout with us, with everything explained clearly & prepared for questions. Sports is our thing, injuries are what we manage, & prevent.
Medicine has many forms, one of which we all know of is the typical pills & injections kind. There is also medicine through the eyes of a psychologist, meditation for the brain & mind, movements to facilitate healing, etc. We prescribe only movements, no medications. Our body has tremendous amounts of self healing, & adaptability properties. Workout a lot & your body changes to look like it, your mind & brain changes, you feel better, walk with more confidence, overall energy is better, & if you stop, you lose it. What we want is to make you understand the potential that individuals like you need to at least feel this way once to know how it feels physically, & mentally. We aim to help rewire your brain’s network with more neuroplasticity through our different movement & somatic recovery programmes. MSMC is a facility in Singapore, where we see client/ patients to treat, manage & help prevent pain/ injury by prescribing movement/exercise & other soft tissue or complementary medicine. We are highly focused in preventing disease & health conditions by promoting movements and higher self awareness, also, believing in the opposite of the pharmaceutical industry, being chemical or medication free. The centre is a space for training, well-being and rehabilitation. It has three operational sections the Gym, a Yoga Studio & the Loft which totals 1700 square feet of self-discovery. The facility is a barefoot, no-mirrors, "no-phone" facility. In being so, everyone in the facility starts connecting in every sense, increasing the awareness of senses and the mechanoreceptors, pay less attention to looks and more attention to how they move. When you think less about the “outside” you can then start increasing the awareness of yourself as a whole. MSMC doesn't just change bodies, we change lives.
