What exactly is GPT?
Our sports medicine training takes shapes in our premium session of GPT, which covers corrective work to improve posture, biomechanics adjustments to decrease injuries, optimal neuromuscular activation of the kinetic chain which may lead to better performance for your specific sport(s), restoration of your range of motion, & so much more. GPT is a 100% free weight training(no machines), where you will be exposed to & learn many of the tools used in both conventional & unconventional training such a steel mace/ mace bell, kettlebell, Suspension, calisthenic, battling rope, Olympic Rings, barbell & more. GPT is unlike a group(mass) training class where there is little to no correction, which will lead to common injuries of the lower back, shoulders, hips, knees & ankle. The sessions are based on skill acquisition, allowing you to master & control your own body moving it exactly how you want it to move with either low or high load. This class is suited for anyone who values world-class movements guide, wanting to learn how to move & execute movement(s) during exercises/ activities, lower your risks of injuring yourself in a group class or on your own & is looking for progressive & tangible results. The class will accommodate only 6 participants for the best session experience, to avoid disappointment, book early for our premium session.
Is GPT for beginners or advanced trainees?
The beauty of GPT is that you are able to progress at your own comfort & phase. If you have little to no experience in working out with free weights, don't worry, it's what we do best, teaching, & we give you easy to follow instructions. If you are an athlete or advanced lifter, worry not, you will be refining, & regressing movements, it's quality over quantity with us. All you worry about is doing the execution of the movements to your best abilities.
Is GPT right for me?
Absolutely. GPT session is for everyone! The session is facilitated by our in-house guide(s) to ensure that each individual learns how to train and move by themselves, according to their own biomechanics. We have different classes that caters for both beginners & advanced lifters, young and in their golden years, preventative and post surgery or injury, & even pre/ post natal.
Why should i do GPT
Doing GPT benefits you in several ways:
- A great way to make new friends
- Affordable to train more frequently
- Follow a structured program
- Get more in depth correction on form and techniques
- Have more effective workout to achieve your goals
- Learn how to avoid injuries through other’s correction of mistakes
- You can learn from more people what common mistakes are
- Ability to foster camaraderie towards each other
- Network!
How to choose my session?
You would usually refer to a particular class and make your choice. Read the front code "METADA" followed by the duration of the session "3.0" will mean that it’s a metabolic conditioning that will be 30 minutes. Don’t have the time? Then choose something such as METADA 2.4, METADA 2.1 or METADA 2.2 as these are the session that will last only 20 minutes! Have longer to spend? Then look for HIT 3.0(30minutes session) or GPT(45 minutes session). Weekly, the sessions go through a six days program rotation with each day being different. So if you follow a six day workout program with us you will be having a full body workout each week without thinking!
Our sessions are categorised in three simple groups:
And three simple GPT categories:
- 2.0 = 20 minutes
- 3.0 = 30 minutes
- 4.0 = 45 minutes
And three simple GPT categories:
- GPT 2. (metabolic adaptation)
- GPT 3. (High Intensity Training)
- GPT 4. (Group Personal Training)
1. GPT 2.0
GPT 2.(metabolic adaptation) is 20 minute & is for those who wants a short workout to help increase/ improve:
GPT 2.(metabolic adaptation) is 20 minute & is for those who wants a short workout to help increase/ improve:
- Cardiovascular conditioning
- Fat Loss
- Increase lean muscle tissue
- Metabolic rate
- Resting metabolic rate
- Lymphatic system
2. GPT 3.0
GPT 3.(high intensity training) is 30 minutes for those who wants a workout that’s neither too long nor short to help increase/ improve:
- Cardiovascular conditioning
- Fat Loss
- Increase lean muscle tissue
- Metabolic rate
- Resting metabolic rate
- Lymphatic systemHIT
- Stability
3. GPT 4.0
GPT is a 45 minutes long session. It compromises of slightly more breakdown and refinements of movements to ensure retention of skill acquisition. You will also get to be introduced to a new tools which may include, barbell, kettlebell, mace bell/ steel mace, suspension trainer 360, stretch strap, battle ropes, sticks and much more. Sessions are broken down into weekly sessions, having you go through a complete body workout. GPT is for those who has time to spare and wants to learn & move more. Perfect for those looking to improve/ increase:
Will i lose out if i attend a shorter session?
Of course not, the shorter the session, it means the lesser you need correction and that your form is immaculate! As you go by within the GPT system, just ask if you would be suited currently to try out the 30 or 20 minutes session. We will guide you to your best abilities and advise you accordingly, but you are always welcomed to try out a session if you want to still.
