What is bungee Yoga?
The bungee yoga class has been carefully designed to help deepen most traditional postures via the elastic bungee cords, which helps to create a distraction(more space) between the joints(less tension), & increase or decrease stability depending on the asana(posture), & because of the nature of the bungee cords your body will be engaged throughout the range of movements.
Your muscles are put through their paces throughout the entire exercise & you can achieve twice the frequency of movement. The resistance of the bungee causes an additional training stimulus at the end of the movement. All of which enables you to build muscle more quickly, whilst increasing your explosive strength, burning more calories in the same amount of time, & improving athleticism.
