Offered exclusively at MSMC, the Cocoon Nidra helps facilitates a different side of meditation/ mindfulness by suspending you in the air. A deep & immersive form of meditation session to learn fundamental techniques made simple & practical allowing anyone to deepen the state of relaxation & meditative state of mind. If you’re the type who likes to delve deeper, there’s this class. You will be taken through different stages of awareness from wakening to hypnagogic(sleep) & practise awareness in the cocoon. The session is based on empirical science & of modern psychology to help induce stillness of the mind & body. Anyone can come & learn to practise meditation in the cocoon because it’s not religious and perfectly suited for those who wants to pick up meditation, deepen your practise or just learn how to still your body & mind to help you recharge, as you have never recharged before.
You will spend about 10-15 minutes with me explaining what we are doing and the do's and don'ts for the session and another 15 minutes practicing breath awareness. We will start a small drill practice and allow you to learn to grip the techniques. Which after you will spend about 15 minutes in the Cocoon, guided by what to do. This is not a "fun class", it's meditation session.
