Where You Experience Authentic Yin Yoga Class

Yin Yoga poses are held for one to five minutes long
Do you Yin?
Yoga classes in Singapore are aplenty, as you can find an islandwide coverage, however, an authentic yin yoga practise place on the other hand is a gem to find in a yoga class. If you haven't done enough research or attended a yin yoga teacher training, this will help you learn more about how it helps switching from a dynamic practise, & why you should select a yin session.

What is yin yoga

  • Yin (black swirl) is derived from the Taoist principles/philosophy/religion that encompasses feminine energy, darkness, & cold. Yin yoga,is a combination of the practice of meditation & holding of poses anywhere from one to five minutes of duration to improve flexibility by allowing the connective tissue (also known as fascia) from moderate to deep stretch. It's also a more passive form of yoga, which is considered the opposite a from of yang yoga. Typically, Yin yoga classes or practice ranges from 60 minutes to 90 minutes long. Most yin yoga classes/ poses held are targeted towards stretching & the release of joints, ligaments & connective tissue.

What is Yin Yoga good for?

  • Benefits of Yin yoga practice or yoga yin session helps improve & better your postures, mental relaxation, release connective tissues around your body like your joints, muscles, tendons, ligaments, hips/pelvis areas & even your visceral organs through the use of breath & meditation, & a much deeper stretch than usual. If you practise a regular vinyasa yoga class (yang yoga)or partake in physical activities held in the gym, there's a better time to select a yin session to practise stillness of the mind, & get your overall health improved.

Is Yin Yoga good for beginners?

  • If you need to improve/better & learn different /pose/postures to gain flexibility, try a yoga class in Singapore, select yin yoga. As you could take your time to hold & stretch your joints & body until you become comfortable, with the use of prop such as bolsters for support. Yin practices is not only perfect  for beginners but anyone who wants to improve every aspect of your wellbeing.

How do you teach a Yin class?

Yin yoga class helps you practise stillness of the mind
Deep form of physical & mental rest= Yin Yoga
Our Yin yoga practice/classes place emphasis on the need to use breathing, mindfulness, stretch, & holding of poses during a session, which is perfect for the joints or connective tissues & muscles to get more blood flow throughout the whole body. So expect a much slower way & style of yoga style poses, & be open to entering the present moment to lower whatever may hold you back to fully relaxing your mind at work. During the practise, there may be two teachers, one to take you through a pose, & one to guide you to breathe, meditate, & relax while in the duration of a  stretch. You may also be asked to focus on sensations related to your body.
Yin yoga in Singapore is much-needed to lower stress, find balance in life, & allow the deepest rest, to feel the best. If you want to try a yin session, there's no perfect time than today to feeling balanced & zen'ed with us.
