A Super Stretch Class In Singapore

Should you stretch a cold muscle?

The idea of stretching your body (muscles) cold to increase flexibility is a bad idea. A conceptual example can be given when stretching a rubber band that's been left in the freezer, that it will snap unless you expose it to a warmer temperature to increase the elasticity of the band. The same goes for our body & muscles that in order to increase flexibility, you have to do it gradually. Typically during a class, you would start from low dynamic loading to dynamic stretches progressively. Please always make sure you spend more time warming up progressively in any class that you attend, & remember, from one class to another class, always seek progression, not perfection.
