The times are slowly shifting our lifestyle choices towards a less dynamic & sedentary form of living. It's now more than ever that healthcare providers & therapists are seeing more patients for musculoskeletal related pain in the body. Wether you are working out in a gym, outdoor, or home, read up on what you can do to make changes to your lifestyle & if Online Personal Training actually will work for you, or not.

Body Adaptation

Essentially, our body is an extension of our physical lifestyle, job scope, verbal expressiveness, emotions, thoughts, trauma & all other things that makes us how we move & stand, which makes what is also known as our posture. For professionals who deals with maximising individual's postures & your wellbeing, postural assessment is such an important process to see how a client feels overall prior to starting any form of training programme. It helps both client sees & bring to attention smaller habits that may have been overlooked such as electronics (phone play time) , sleeping, eating, desk positioning or whatever it is that you may not realise is what is causing you stiffness, aches, & even occasional pain that may lead to chronic overuse of the muscles/ joints.

The human body is an amazing physical construct & is constantly adapting to its environment allowing you to move efficiently, maximise safety, & comfort. If you, for example have limited lifestyle choices, & is working from home in a quaratined scenario, you sit for more than 8 hours in a row & your body doesn't get that much movement for the next few weeks, this will lead to overall decreased of blood flow of the body.
With all the work that we do, we forget or don't realise that sitting a lot is a negative for our health. There are plenty of research which strongly suggests that the seated position affects the body's circulation, which can lead to various health problems, such as back pain, obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and even arthritis. Sitting causes the body to lose oxygen at a faster rate than if you were moving. Now, there are all sorts of different things that can be done to make sure we stay upright with less effort. These things include activities like walking, riding a bicycle, swimming, gardening, or tennis. These activities also increase circulation in the lower extremities, reducing strain on the joints.

Sitting, while less physically strenuous than walking, is more taxing on the body. The longer we sit, the more we tire out & the more likely we are to develop back pains & other chronic conditions associated with sedentary lifestyles.
However, the best way to improve overall health is to make sure that you move every day. Movement increases circulation, improves bone density, improves wellbeing, & stretches the body. Sitting all day may even lead to coronary artery disease, which is a type of heart disease. Even though it is not as common as the more common forms of heart disease, it is one of the major causes of death.
Increased circulation also helps to decrease pain in the legs, feet, and ankles. The heart starts to work better & blood pressure is controlled better as well. When you have a healthy circulatory system, your entire body system is able to function better. It is not that difficult to improve blood flow, & it's as simple as putting aside 20-30 minutes a day for the body to get its love through selective exercises/ movements. If you are looking for an easy way to improve your posture, improve blood flow, & immune system, join an online personalised training program
It is important to ensure that you are moving regularly to allow for better blood flow, a healthier heart, mind & body. Movement also stimulates the pituitary gland, which regulates the release of endorphins, which are chemical substances in the brain that cause you to feel good. These chemicals also help keep the entire body in good condition.

Professional Time

For most of us, this will ring a bell when we say that seeing a fitness professional can cost you an arm & a small little leg. When you factor in the amount of time taken to perfect their trade through professional training courses, continuing education workshops, & other requirements they need to abide in order to keep the license or certifications current & valid, the ones that keeps industry standards, will charge, accordingly.

Also because they can spend their time only in a one to one session, not in a group (mass) session, as it is, a personal trainer is not trained to teach in a group settings because that takes another training for group aerobics teacher  training courses. Personal trainers are specialised bunch of individuals who choose to specialise in exercise prescription & movement corrections/ regressions.

Choosing to join an online training programme allows the fitness professionals now to be able to easily space out their timings for more clients throughout the day. This definitely lowers his traveling costs, personal time & ultimately, bring your costs to a fraction of what you are already paying or would have to fork out.

Location

Wherever life takes you, if you're having to travel for that business meeting away from home, having a holiday in UK, staying home to babysit the nephews, trekking that jungle, or too busy coming up with that secret recipe, enrolling yourself in a personalised online training can have you train just about anywhere with any tools that you can find which includes your own bodyweight!

Live VS Online Training

While nothing comes close to training in person, being online isn't as bad as what most of us make of it. With the current technology that we have, the interactions of joining an online session(s) are as good as being there, the only difference is that you are at the comfort of your own place (wherever this may be, out door or indoor).

What you need to know as well is, are the session(s) live streaming, pre-recorded, or a programme that shows you what to do & how to do it in a full video format or in a programme style format with full sets , reps, rest time etc.

Sustainability

Weight loss, strength training, rehabilitation, whatever the programme is, you need to be able to sustain the "compliance". Without compliance to or any determination / motivation, most of the success or failure lies in this sustainability of being able to see it through. Body builders are amongst few other people that would see a programme through it & make physical & mental changes.

Intensity & frequency of a workout also plays a role in sustainability for long term progress. Overtraining & under recovery can cause one to drop out of any programme as when mental fatigue sets in, your physical body will give up way earlier & if you carry on training longer, your immune system will also crash, causing you to fall sick frequently. Subsequent thought to rest days is important to keep the sustainability for a workout programme.

Cost if one more thing that you need to consider as mentioned above as it will all add up quickly, unless you have cash the burn, then you need to find a way to let the professionals still be engaged for coming up with the training programme without affecting your bank in the negatives! Unless you're going to chart everything down which includes, meal plan, daily - weekly - monthly & quarterly programme, progress tracking, food diary, body analysis, assessments & so on, it's best to leave it to someone who does this professionally!

Workout variables

This is especially true when your body has reached its limits for the workload or the programme. Our body  adapts quickly to any programme, within 3 weeks onwards actually, which after, any of the exercises that you are doing will feel like a breeze & you will get less soreness after the workouts, not only is recover much faster in between your workouts but also your sets & reps.

A smart training programme takes into account how well you are adapting & throw in a variable to ensure that the body will try rev up the metabolic rate, increase fat loss by efficiently using them as a source of energy, change your posture, mentally make you stronger, & physically change you from the inside out. Sounds a bit far fetched but it's very true for those who has gone through smart programming & it doesn matetr oif you tried it yourself or with a fitness professional, you will change if you add the right amount of variables from rest to exercise movements.

As well, adding variable helps you to avoid injuries by not overusing the same muscles group

Time for loved ones

Time spent doing something is never time wasted, unless of course you are repeatedly doing them without finding any answers or progression within a certain deadline, then yes, time is wasted. Spend more time with your family & loved ones & find a online programme that allows you to take the most precious time off your hands, heck you may even be spending time working out together & not argue about what to workout on right?!

Move with everyone

It is hard sometimes to make the elderly move & exercise. It's especially true when it comes to your own elders, & it doesn't matter if you are a health professional, medical physician, sports medicine specialists, a renowned personal trainer & so on. They find it hard to listen & you would find it hard to motivate them as well as if it was coming in from someone else.

A professionally built software can quickly allow you to choose a programme that can fit within their capabilities. The Online programme as well must be able to give direct feedback, fast communication, progressions, regression exercise, enough so that everyone can find a medium which is not too hard nor easy yet challenging for everyone to do & constantly enter a new movement to stay motivated.

If you're ready to make that change for you & everyone else around you, find the best online personal training with us right here & if you would like to stretch you can find it here.
