Kettlebell is also used in rehabilitation by many physiotherapist and rehab specialists as they provide a weight that is off your centre of gravity, making you work harder for less weight. Stabilisation is needed for kettlebells as individuals who has used kettlebells would tell you that your core is engaged throughout the session using Kbs. It helps you to produce power should you need that extra edge for your sports activity, which all power comes from your hips or core. Most of the increments for Kbs are a four kg according to the russians who came up with the training program, saying that in order to progress you will need to ensure the full body recruitment of the whole body, making it safe handling the next progressive weight. The barbell can follow your body type and adjust accordingly to your personal biomechanics by simple shifts of position(s). From rows, to pull, to learning how to perfect that olympic lifting techniques, the land mine tool is gold for those looking to move the body, not in a predetermined manner or motion. This also translate to a much higher transfer or carry over to sports(eg golfers) and rehabilitation for recovery as training in multi-direction assists with multiple engagement of deep stabilisers, improve motor skills, improving proprioceptors, balance, spatial awareness and full body conditioning. Easy to set up and stack away from sight when not in use. Stahl Bar These bars were initially used by gymnastics and fitness enthusiasts, with most schools now having them at the hall for students to use for both mobility and stretching. Nowadays, gymnastics are still using the bars along with professionals who are dealing with postural corrections and strengthening exercises. There are plenty of ways(at least 60 exercises) to start using them, but the main thing to remember with stahl bars is that it's more beneficial for use of correction on posture, and stretching. Other than that, you can get creative with the bars and allow your limit of usage with them to be within your creativity! Agility ladder Portable drill ladder. For those who wants to get their feet-work in and increase co-ordination and speedwork, this is your best friend! They allow users to grip wherever their range of motions allow at that moment, and also allows you to closely track if you are able to stretch more every week. Stretches with these straps can be very efficient and deep, thus, used with someone who knows a thing or two about muscles spindles is a bonus, if not it won't kill you trying out some moves on your own. Barbells They say the barbell is king, king of compound exercise using them that is. Squats, pulling(rows), presses are the usual moves BBs are used for but not limited to. They weigh in differently, depending on the type of barbell you have or want to use. Olympic barbells(what we have) weighs 45lbs, grip size is 28mm, and the length is 1.3m long. The reason to use oly bars is simple, the max loading is much higher before it either bends or break. They can take about 500lbs in total weight before it starts getting a "frown". Squat Rack (Again Faster folding rack) There's nothing fancy on why we chose these squat racks, when not in use they can be stored on the walls and gives us more space! They can be used for almost anything you want, squats, presses etc. Heights can be adjusted towards individuals preference. Power Bands The title says it all. Power bands are made to help you generate more power by giving you tension throughout the movement(s), either using a barbell or kettlebell etc. They are used widely to help with pull-ups by attaching them to the feet and allow the bands to do their thing. We have different strengths of power bands according to the colours and sizes. The smaller ones are usually used for mobility with traction to help with those sticky hip joints before the squats to help with freeing them through the range of motion, in other words you stretch and allow the bands to simulate having someone else pulls your joint(s) away giving you "distraction". Mace bell Similar to the kettlebells, these bad boys will take you through the journey of stability, mobility, full body workout and conditoining without the gimmicky stuff. You need someone who is very competent in using them or teaching you how to use them, otherwise you are left with very limited exercises with them, though, they provide you an array of benefit from performance to rehab, and have a high carry over to sports and daily activities. Hex Bar Just like the barbell, the Hex bar is better suited for basic lifts such as deadlifts. A more functional move with them is to do walks while loaded with weights(the bar itself weighs 45 lbs) Swiss Ball Ab Mats Bungees
