Picture
If you're looking for the best stretch therapy (st) services in Singapore, we're the only ones who do fascia stretch, & functional stretch therapy. Each stretch therapist with us has trained additionally to their current knowledge or background study in the fascial system, & the most current science on stretching the body & offer stretch therapy to help better relaxation & improve overall wellbeing.

Is Stretch Therapy (st) Effective?

An athlete training at a high level to a person who needs to get stronger, post injury, & to lower the risk of injury, stretch therapy is able to help your body through using various connective tissues techniques to restore your:
  • Joints
  • Muscles
  • Posture
  • Range of motion
  • Flexibility
Stretch therapy(st) is one of the various physio-therapies that helps ease any discomfort or pain that your body may have & decrease tension on your muscles. During the therapy, the stretch therapist is able to do a technique called re patterning which stretches & changes the directional load on your body, having less pain & ease in your joints, improve your athletic performance, increase strength, improving flexibility(lowers risks of injury), better recovery for muscles, & not forgetting, an easier path to deeper relaxation which is something we all need. The best way to ease & stretch deeper into the muscles, tendons, & ligaments

What are the 3 main techniques of stretching(st)?Text

There are a few techniques that our stretch therapist are equipped with, & you can expect them to accurately use:
  1. PNF
  2. MET
  3. Traction
They help the muscles get stronger by placing your body in a certain position(s) & have you do specific strengthening movement in the stretch therapy session.

Is it OK to stretch every day?

Our connective tissue system(aka fascia) needs regular strengthening & stretching. Choosing the time, & type of stretches is important for the full benefits of keeping the posture free from tension which will cause compensational pain. Stretching is not a harmful activity but you would only get the benefits when done moderately, & the way you do it has to be within your body's limit. To maintain, improve, & have an edge on your athletic performance, stretching should be done at least pre-during-post workout, for at least 4-5 times weekly.

Important: Stretches should never be painful, if it is, modify the stretch to a point that it doesn't cause any, relaxation is a big part many people miss when doing a stretch. So yes, stretching everyday is safe, given that you do it with informed decision, & dare we say, with grace.
#grace #way

Find some time & make an appointment today, & let our stretch therapist lengthen your connective tissues(fascia) & help improve the quality of life.
