Cocoon Nidra Cocoon Nidra is a form of yogic sleep where you will be lying down in the aerial silk combined with guided meditation. Derived from the activity of Yoga Nidra where one lies on the floor in a yoga studio, the facilitator Jab has taken it to another level of discovery and relaxation by putting people in the cocoon looking hammock and allowing you to be totally free of gravity from both body and mind. Just like the word cocoon, you will leave the hammock like a new person(the metaphor of a butterfly leaving its shell after the session). If you are looking for unique things to do in Singapore, this will take your mind and body to a new level of awareness and of course relaxation. It’s been said that a session of cocoon Indra is the equivalent to a few hours of deep sleep! For recovery of those tired body and mind, try the session out as there is no contract to sign but just pay as you go. The class can only take 10 people max and usually sells out fast. Link can be found here to check the schedule and do a hassle free payment for the session. Fascial Stretch therapy This is a table based stretch with a therapist. It is gentle and convenient way to help you with recovery from that spartan race or that standard chartered run you just participated! For those who are recovering from a post operation, the FST helps by allowing your body to gain it’s optimal function and range of motion quicker than doing nothing or worse, going to the gym doing the wrong things. With that in mind, if you sit more than 2 hours a day without moving or stretching, you will most probably need a therapist to help you stretch muscles you never thought existed! Old or young, preventing or managing an injury, you can ensure yourself that FST can help you get to your personal goals quicker than most stretching protocols. The stretch session uses a science based principle to give you the most traction from the joints, ligaments, muscles and of course as the title says…fascia(the connective tissue). FST has only three practitioners in Singapore and the facility hosts two of them!
