Is Aerial Yoga dangerous?

It's important to know that all classes/ activities in a studio that bring you off the ground always have safety instructions, & class details of what may happen should you lose concentration(falls are not new during any aerial yoga or fitness classes. Albeit the falling, it's rare that studios in Singapore have reported any severe or fatal injuries. 

Can you lose weight with aerial yoga?

Losing weight means you need to increase your physical activity, & aerial yoga is a great way to start! Generally speaking, aerial yoga using a silk hammock does not increase the physical demands as much as resistance training(read more on this here to burn calories).
