Are gong baths safe?As far as sound bath sessions with a gong(gong baths) for groups or private meditation sessions, there has been no incident of gong sound casing any danger or harm. Though if you're too near, it may be a bit loud but some people want the close vibrations it gives the body. Another benefit that many meditation practitioners, even beginners, say that they can bring their gong sounds to bring them to a deeper meditative state of experience. That was a fantastic post! A sound bath is a type of listening meditation. Sound baths are musical performances that are therapeutic and performed by experienced sound healers. Himalayan singing bowls, crystal bowls, gongs, biosonic tuning forks and shamanic drumming are some of the instruments used. Participants lie down on mats on the floor in savasana (corpse posture) and let the sound waves wash over them.
